Adoptive Family Needed For Two Whippets and One Greyhound
One of our adoptive owners (Bob Leibig) sadly lost his wife Rita in 2009, he also retired in December and he plans to begin traveling this spring. Because of these life changing experiences Bob will no longer be able to care for all of his pets (one Greyhound named Angel Baby and two Whippets named Jack and Ollie). He is looking for loving, indoor homes where Angel Baby (Red and White Greyhound), Jack (White and Black Whippet) and Ollie (Red and White Whippet) can live out the remainder of their lives. He would like for Jack and Ollie to stay together in their new home because they are very bonded to one another. Angle Baby is 55 lbs. and is 13 years old and Jack and Ollie are between 28 – 30 lbs. and both turned 7 years old last October. All of the dogs are healthy, housebroken and very affectionate. If you know of anyone that is interested in getting a pair of Whippets or would appreciate an older Greyhound, please have them contact me directly via e-mail or cell ( carol@greyhounds2.org or 404-384-2987) and I will provide them with Bob’s contact information. We have a lot going on this year in our efforts to raise funds and spread Greyhound adoption throughout Georgia. As always, we still need your help every Saturday at our local area PetsMarts and PetCos to walk our adoptable Greyhounds for potty breaks and to speak to potential adopters about the wonder of Greyhound ownership. Please visit AAGA’s Schedule Page for our most up-to-date schedule. ( http://www.greyhounds2.org/static/schedule.php).
Please contact me to volunteer for any of our upcoming events or if you have questions about going to Mountain Hounds and Beach Bound Hounds.
