Our Vet

It is important that ALL pets, including Greyhounds, receive proper veterinary care on a regular basis. AAGA is pleased to use the services of The Village Vets of Lilburn-Stone Mountain. Doctors Laura Edison, Francoise Tyler, and Will Draper have worked very diligently and conscientiously – and with kindness and compassion – to help us ready our Greyhounds for adoption. We feel we are very fortunate to have found such excellent medical care “just around the corner” from Greys’Land.

Because of their handling of so many Greyhounds, including our adoptables, The Village Vets are quite familiar with the quirks associated with the breed. Thus, many of our adoptive families continue to take their Greyhounds to them.

The Village Vets is located at 1227 Rockbridge Road, Suite 300, Stone Mountain, GA 30087. Phone: (770) 717-1650.
Dr. Françoise Tyler

Dr. Tyler is an Atlanta native, and is a 1984 Woodward Academy graduate. She attended the University of Georgia (UGA) prior to attending Tuskegee University's School of Veterinary Medicine. She was accepted to Tuskegee after only 3 years of undergraduate studies at UGA. After graduating from Tuskegee in 1991, she completed a small animal internship at UGA, and then returned to Atlanta where she's been practicing ever since. She loves dermatology, internal medicine, and exotic animal medicine. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to jazz, and taking long walks with her family.

Dr. Will Draper

Dr. Will grew up in Inglewood, California, and graduated from Morningside High School in 1984 before matriculating to Tuskegee University (4th generation) for both undergraduate and veterinary medical studies. He was accepted to veterinary school after only 3 years of undergraduate studies; and after receiving his DVM in 1991, he continued his training at North Rockville Veterinary Hospital in Rockville, Maryland before moving to Atlanta in 1992. He loves music (big Dave Matthews Band fan), movies, painting with acrylics, and playing golf. His areas of veterinary interest include dermatology, internal medicine, and surgery. He recently had a local radio segment, "Critter Chatter."
