At Adopt a Greyhound's kennels live
several dogs that, for one reason or another, will be difficult to
adopt.
However, these dogs still need food and medical care, so we are constantly
trying to find ways to make ends meet while caring for these special
needs friends.
Below are descriptions of our Sponsor
Dogs. If you would like to help out with their care, we greatly appreciate
donations.
No amount is too small -- every little bit helps!

Bean
-- 4-year-old female greyhound, solid black
Bean is a highly intelligent and
highly active tiny (45 lbs.) girl. Bean has a fetching personality
that has won many adoptive parents hearts, but unfortunately, due
to Bean’s overzealous activity level and extremely high prey
drive, four different families have returned her. Yes, I did say
FOUR! Carl has decided that she will live out the remainder of her
life with AAGA.

Rickie
- 6-year-old female greyhound, black with white toes and tail tip
Rickie is a sweet girl that is affectionate and responds
well to verbal commands, but for some reason she is always looked
over by adoptive parents. The major problem with Rickie is that
she is very aggressive with other dogs (especially females) and
cats, so she will need to be in a one-pet home, which is difficult
to find.
