Here are some pictures of greyhounds that are currently living at our kennels, awaiting adoption.

Before you look at the photos, keep in mind that greyhounds do not just come in a variety of colors: they come in a variety of personalities as well. It is the dog's personality, not its pretty face, that makes for a good or bad fit in your home. Please think about what kind of dog you are looking for. Whether it's very active and playful, very calm and docile, or somewhere in between, chances are there is a greyhound that will fit your lifestyle.

Also, we do have a pretty high turnover, and there is no guarantee that any dog on this page is still available. So please don't get attached to any particular dog. These photos are meant just to give you an idea of what we have right now.

That said, please feel free to ask us about any of these dogs when you call or come in. We just want to make sure that you do meet the dog and get to know its personality before you make any decisions.

Wally – 5 Y/O – M Black This sleek, good-looking guy is a real showstopper. Plus he's friendly, quiet, and well mannered. .	Wally
Captain	Captain– 2 Y/O – M Red Captain is a knockout with that deep, deep red coat and those beautiful eyes. He is happy, elegant and spirited. He prances when he walks.
Diamo – 4 Y/O – M White with brindle markings Impressive on the track, he’s just as impressive in “retirement”. He’s quiet and reserved and very well mannered. And you gotta love that face.	Diamo
Jesse	Jesse – 3 Y/O – M Dark brindle ADOPTED What a big, handsome happy-go-lucky fellow Jesse is. He’s active and curious—likes to check things out. He comes when he’s called, and he’s already housebroken.
Joyce – 3 Y/O – FE Red This pretty lady "loves her people". She wants so much to be your best friend. She will greet you with kisses, and her tail never stops wagging. Are you the person that can give this happy girl the attention she deserves?	Joyce
Make Time	Make Time – 4 1/2 Y/O – FE Red Who could not “make time” to cuddle with this beautiful little girl? Just look at that face. She is well mannered and dainty. A real lady with lots of love to give.
Speedy – 5 1/2 Y/O – M White with brindle markings. ADOPTED You gotta fall in love with this seasoned gentleman. So sweet, so gentle, so obedient. And just look at that face. Cat, small dog, and children tolerant.	Speedy
Trix	Trix – 4 1/2 Y/O – FE White with red markings. Your heart will melt when you look into the eyes of this handsome boy. He wants so much to be loved but is very shy. He is, however, gradually adjusting to life "off the track", and, like his quiet brother, a recent resident of Greys’Land, Trix will become a wonderful companion in an adult home.
DAVID – 4 Y/O – M Fawn This good-looking pale fawn boy was found lost and standing in the middle of a busy street by a man named David, who brought him to AAGA…hence, his name. He is a quiet, friendly and happy fellow who will be even happier when he finds a new permanent home. He is housetrained. Cat tolerant	David
Halo Ellen	ELLEN – 5 Y/O – FE White with black patches Ellen wins the prize for the wagging-est tail; it is always in motion. She is so enthusiastic and obedient and responds immediately to her name. And she’s so gorgeous, to boot. She’d be a beautiful accessory in any home. She is housetrained. Not cat tolerant.
KOOKIE LOU – 11 Y/O – FE Red One of our special seniors, Kookie Lou is just the sweetest thing. Look into those soft brown eyes and you can deny her nothing. Quiet and affectionate, she has free run of Greys’Land and is the first to greet everyone who comes to visit. Since she knows what it was like to live in a real home, we are so hoping that someone out there will want to give her a secure and loving place to spend her last years. She is housetrained. Althea	Althea – 3 Y/O – FE Black ADOPTED Althea is a bouncy little girl with boundless energy. She even does tricks, like “sit” and “lie down”. She doesn’t like it when she has to be in a pen. She wants to play instead. Not cat tolerant.

Please also consider our Special Needs dogs. Some of them are looking for Forever Homes, and would make wonderful pets.
